Castrol India Board approves 1:1 Bonus Issue & Final Dividend of Rs 15

Castrol India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 18, 2010, inter alia, has decided to pay a final Dividend of Rs. 15/- per Equity Share (including a Special Dividend of Rs. 10/-) for the year ended December 31, 2009.

The Board also approved the increase in the Authorised share capital of the Company from 124,000,000 Equity shares of Rs.l0/- each aggregating to Rs. 124 crores to 248,000,000 equity shares of Rs 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 248 crores.

Ramkrishna Forgings to allot equity shares & warrants

Indsil Hydro Power to set up 75,000 tpy ferro chrome smelter in Oman

Indsil Hydro Power and Manganese along with its group sister company, Indsil Energy & Electrochemicals have entered into an arrangement on 17 February 2010 with the Muscat Overseas Group from the Sultanate of Oman to form a 50:50 joint venture for the purpose of setting up a 75,000 tpy ferro chrome smelter in the Sultanate of Oman.

Suzlon receives 8.7 MW order

Suzlon Energy has won an order from L&T Infrastructure Development Projects (L&TIDPL), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro to set up operate and maintain a 8.7 MW wind energy project. The project will comprise of three units of Suzlon`s S82 - 1.5 MW turbines and two units of Suzlon`s S88 - 2.1 MW wind turbine generators, and is scheduled to be completed and commissioned by 30 March 2010.
