Fedders Lloyd Corporation has secured contracts aggregating to Rs. 257 crore for supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of High Voltage Distribution Systems (HVDS) in various districts of Madhya Pradesh, against Asian Development Bank Project in joint venture with Cobra Instalaciones Y Servicios SA, Spain.

The company has secured the contract from M.P. Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran, Bhopal.

Western India Shipyard secures order

Western India Shipyard has received a large order from its client from the United Arab Emirates for major repairs to their `WSV VLSTFONN` which involves specialized industrial activities like overhauling of equipment, repairs in dry dock and jetties, etc. Such type of vessel namely Well Stimulation Vessel (WSV) is being repaired for the first time in India. This is a prestigious order to be completed in about 27 days and the repairs value is about Rs 10.80 crore. The repair order has been won against stiff competition.

Jet Airways registers fifth consecutive month of strong growth

Jet Airways, Indias premier international airline has registered its fifth consecutive month of strong growth with the announcement of its results for February 2010, maintaining its leadership position in the Indian aviation industry.

Jet Airways continued to drive growth momentum even in a traditionally lean month, reporting a 31% growth in international passenger traffic for February 2010 as compared to the same period last year. Domestic passenger traffic in February 2010
also grew by 22% vis-a-vis the same period last year. The airline has been sustaining its seat factor for its international operations at over 80% for five consecutive months with the February 2010 figure standing at an impressive 82%, reflecting continued high demand for the airlines award-winning international product.

JetLite, Jet Airways all-economy subsidiary, registered a 10.4% growth in passenger traffic on a seat factor of 80% in February 2010.
