Adani Power Maharashtra, a subsidiary of Adani Power (APL) has been awarded a Letter of Intent (LOI) by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for purchase of 1,200 MW of power on long-term basis. This is one more achievement for APL coming close on the heels of LOI of 1,200 MW last week from Rajasthan Utilities.With this, the total long-term power selling arrangement firmed up by APL comesi to 7,100 MW. As may be recalled, APL already has PPA of 2,000 MW wittV Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL), 1,424 MW PPA with Haryana Utilities, 1,320 MW with Maharashtra Utilities through its subsidiary viz. Adani Power Maharashtra (APML) and 1,200 MW with Rajasthan Utilities through Adani Power Rajasthan. All these bids are awarded on competitive basis.
