Adani Power Rajasthan, a 100% subsidiary of Adani Power has been awarded Letter of Intent (LOI) by Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Utpadan Nigam (RRVPNL) for purchase of upto 1,200 MW of power on long-term basis.
With this, the total long-term power selling arrangement firmed up by APL comes to 5,900 MWs. As may be recalled, APL already has PPA of 2,000 MWs with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUNVL), 1,424 MW with Haryana Utilities and 1,320 MW with Maharastra Utilities through its subsidiary Adani Power Maharastra(APML).It is a matter of distinction for APL to have won all these bids under Case-I competitive bidding. Case-I bids are the ones where the developers takes the full responsibility for project development and commits to supplu power through competitive bidding process from the pre-decided date. APL is the only power company in the company with PPAs of nearly 6,000 MWs under Case-I bidding.
