The board of Era Financial Services India in its meeting on 12 December 2009 has approved the composite scheme of arrangement involving demerger of operational activities pertaining to Cineplex/ food courts business of company to Silverline Cinemas Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, through hiving off as a going concern and merger of ARK Vidhyut Urja Ltd, ARK Transmission & Distribution Ltd, Era Power Ltd with the company.
The board has approved the starting of new line of activity, i.e. power sector related activities by changing of its object through approval of shareholder by way of postal ballot.
