Tata Communications launches its largest Indian data center at Pune

Tata Communications has unveiled its largest data center in the country. Spread across nearly 55,000 net square feet, the data center would offer services including Co-location, Managed Hosting & Storage and a suite of complementary services including Managed Security Services and CDN services. The Pune IDC will reside on Tata Communications` Tier-1 IP backbone enabling it to provide high capacity Internet, MPLS and global Ethernet services.Tata Communications has already invested around Rs 125 crore in the Pune data center and intends to make further investment over the next three years to Rs 500 crore based on market demand.

Tata Communications is the largest player in the data center business in India with 42 facilities worldwide spread over nearly 1 million square feet Tata Communications is uniquely positioned to offer services to its customers by virtue of a pan India presence with facilities in Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Kolkata and international facilities in Singapore, UK, and USA.

The data centre operations and services are monitored and managed on-site and remotely, from its centralized Managed Services Operations Centre (MSOC) on a 24x7x365 basis and by a team of highly experienced technical, communications and facilities staff.
